Kyle David Terry

Kyle David Terry died December 29, 2022.  Kyle was born May 14, 1982 in Englewood Colorado.  He obtained his GED as well as a Residential Electrician license.  His life events were such that he was never able to stay on track.  

He suffered a tragedy at age 15 that resulted in PTSD and drug addiction which ultimately took his life.  He battled his demons for 25 years taking 2 steps forward and 5 steps back never being able to get out of the system and maintain success. It's very difficult for friends and family to watch as mental health alienates your loved ones and you know they are on a painful march to death. 

Kyle's death, though expected, is still sad.  It's sad nothing any of us could do or say or try to help would have changed the outcome.  In these events you can not wonder if anything could have been done differently as you can't help someone who can't help themselves or wasn't willing to accept help. We can only reach back to a better time when he was bright before the darkness took over.  We can only take comfort  that his suffering mentally, physically, and spiritually are over.  

If God truly had a plan for him, let it be that his death be a cautionary tale to those who find themselves struggling through a similar experience.  Rest in peace my son and know you were loved.
